Our Mission

Through holistic action, we demonstrate God’s love to children and communities made vulnerable by war in Burma.

Our Methods

In order to holistically respond to the growing needs of the people we work with, Partners believes that our faith calls us to respond to the whole person: mind, body and spirit. With that in mind, these are our methods of engaging the people of Burma in love:

• Emergency Relief Partners Relief & Development provide temporary relief in times of crisis when lives are at risk due to oppression, war, or natural disaster. This includes the provision of basic essentials such as food, clothing, water, medicine, emergency medical assistance and shelter and is a short-term solution to an immediate crisis.
• Development Partners Relief & Development are dedicated to providing long-term sustainable solutions to poverty. Included in our development work is comprehensive assistance to those (especially children) affected by war and now living in refugee camps and migrant communities along the Thai-Burma border. Additionally, Partners is involved with several health care initiatives, agricultural projects, animal husbandry and other areas to help impoverished people help themselves. Additionally, Partners provides and/or facilitates training in the areas of education, vocation, leadership, Bible study, and family development.
• Advocacy Partners Relief & Development are committed to "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves..." (Proverbs 31:8-9). Through speaking, publishing, and other forms of advocacy, Partners is passionate about telling the world what is currently happening in Burma and mobilizing like-minded individuals, churches, and organizations to do the same.
