About the 2007 Run
A huge THANK YOU to all who participated in the Edinburgh Run for Relief in Burma 2007. Over 170 runners and walkers completed 5k around the Meadows on 6 October 2007, raising £4600 to support Partners Relief and Development in their relief efforts with internally displaced people in Burma.
What can this money actually do? Well £4,600 can make a big difference! It can keep 15 families of 5 alive for an entire year. That means that by the time of the 2008 race, 75 people on the run in Burma will have received the essential supplies they needed to stay alive for the past year as a result of your efforts.
But there is still more to be done. That’s why we’re running again, on 4 October 2008. Come and join us!
